So I was pretty much crazy in love with this girl. She is amazing. I guess I was, pretty much, too in love with her. Well this put me down in the dumps, because well I thought this girl was “The Girl” for me, and maybe she is. But then I thought, wait I’m only 16 years old, you know, I have so much more life to live. And I’m happy to say that we are pretty good friends, and now I realize I would never want to give up that friendship. No matter what, it makes me happy to have a Great friend like her.:)

Well I was relating this to God’s Love for us. And well Love is a beautiful thing, but it can also hurt. And I was thinking, God’s love for us is greater than anything. I mean he gave his one and only son for us. Now ladies and gentlemen, that is the most beautiful Love there is.

The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?

22Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

23“Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him. 25Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.

26“The servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ 27The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.

28“But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.

29“His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’

30“But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31When the other servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had happened.

32“Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ 34In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

35“This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”

Matthew 18:21-35

“…Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood” (Revelations 1:5)

Can you even begin to comprehend the great mystery that this scripture is showing us?

Jesus deserves no less than all of our devoted love and service because he paid the sacrificed everything, for us and “loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood” Rev 1:5. Jesus washed our sin away, forever, with his own blood. Remember, Jesus, being King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords, being the Son of God, having all authority and power in heaven and earth – this is more than enough, for us to be willing to give up our lives for him, and bring people to the Word. We should have the willingness to devote our lives to him. After Jesus paid the ultimate price, sacrificing his PERFECT LIFE, for us, sinners, and we are still selfish.

This makes me sick, seriously, I mean, he gave his life for us. I mean, just think about it.

Seriously Think About It.

“You Can Trust God”

Why we lose faith.

  • Poor choices(faith based on convenience rather than convictions)
  • Unexplainable Tragedies(circumstances don’t fit my understanding)

“What’s happening now,
What I’m feeling now,
Determines what I believe for now.

Foundation of Christian faith is a person not our circumstances.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Song of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. -Hebrews 4:15

Sadly people are unwilling to accept faith for what it really is rather than what they want it to be.

Faith is not a force to tap into God, nor is it just confidence or wishful thinking.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. -Hebrews 11:1

Faith is confidence that God is who He says HJe is and that He will do all He has promised to do.

What can we expect from God?

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
